Ex-Emmerdale star Adam Thomas 'to join Strictly Come Dancing'

Former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas is set to compete for this year's Strictly Come Dancing glitterball trophy. The actor, 33, is thought to be the first celebrity dancer to sign up to the hit BBC show.

The star, who left the Dales in early 2018, is no stranger to reality TV and went on to finish third in I'm a Celebrity in 2016. Adam is currently filming the new series of drama Waterloo Road, reprising the role of Donte.
