Three former players have cut ties with Collingwood in the belief "nothing has changed" following the report into allegations of racism within the AFL club.
The Magpies vowed to implement all 18 recommendations from the 'Do Better' report, leaked in January last year, which included developing a strategy "to address and reconcile past acts of racism".
Heritier Lumumba, Leon Davis, Andrew Krakouer have all detailed their own experiences of racism at Collingwood and have engaged with the club since the report was made public.
But 2010 premiership defender Lumumba on Wednesday said the trio are not satisfied the necessary steps are being taken by the Magpies.
"After 15 months of dialogue to address past incidents of racism at the Collingwood Football Club, Leon Davis, Andrew Krakouer and I have formally notified the club that we are officially terminating all communications with CFC," Lumumba posted on Twitter.
"Nothing has changed. It is our firm belief that the Collingwood Football Club has no intention of acting in good faith to achieve a just outcome for past players who have experienced racism at the Club."
Former Gold Coast player Joel Wilkinson was racially vilified by Magpies fans during a 2012 game at the MCG and has been outspoken about Collingwood's failings regarding racism.
On Wednesday, Wilkinson said the club had made "zero" contact with him since the Do Better report came out.
The move by former teammates Lumumba, Davis and Krakouer to stop communicating with Collingwood came two weeks after the club released a 12-month review of steps taken to address issues raised in Do Better.
The review, conducted by the authors of Do Better, noted the club had made "significant and genuine progress" on many of the 18 recommendations laid out in the report.
