Fans of former Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams living in the Charlotte, North Carolina area will be happy to learn that Williams, a native of the city, is holding his first-ever youth basketball camp in the stomping grounds of his youth.
Per the event’s page, the camp runs from 9 am ET tomorrow morning, July 19, to July 21, with breakfast and lunch provided to camp attendees. Participants will not need to bring basketballs as they will be provided by the staff from the Grant Williams Family Foundation. Per the Foundation’s site, it exists “to identify and promote opportunities for young people through sports, financial empowerment, mentorship, and the arts.”
“Our mission is to foster thriving communities and help build intergenerational wealth for the next generation,” they add.
