A footballer has described the loss of his race discrimination claim against his former Lanarkshire club as a "bitter blow".
Rico Quitongo took Airdriedonians FC and one of the club's directors, Paul Hetherington, to an employment tribunal over allegations of racial discrimination.
The 23-year-old claimed he was racially abused by a fan during a game against Queen's Park last year - whilst the club carried out an investigation into the matter, it was later dropped due to "insufficient evidence".
