Ex-Agniveers may get Delhi govt jobs without exams, physical tests

The Delhi government is considering direct recruitment of former Agniveers into the Delhi Police, Home Guards and Delhi Fire Service without written examinations or physical tests, TOI reported.

The proposal also included a 20% horizontal reservation for ex-Agniveers in the three services, with the earmarked vacancies to be adjusted within the existing reservation framework for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and the general category, the report said.
