Scots DJ Ewan McVicar has praised council chiefs for being 'legends' as fans snap up extra tickets for his huge homecoming Ayr gig.
The hit producer released an additional batch of briefs to his massive show at the Low Green in April.
The 'Tell Me Something Good' star will take over the beachfront grounds in the shadow of the iconic Ayr Pavilion.
Ayrshire Live told his week how the council bosses had granted Ewan a capacity increase taking the total number of fans from 5,000 to 7,500.
With original tickets already sold out, fans were given a second chance at grabbing a second batch to see the Kincaidston lad return to his hometown.
Fans have flocked to the ticket site Skiddle this morning, with sources close to the gig telling us how 60 per cent of the briefs have gone already since 10am.
One fan tweeted the DJ this morning with a screenshot of his booking confirmation along with a dancing emoji.
Ewan took to social media to announce the extra capacity of the Pavilion Festival.
In a statement the star said: "riiiight team av been working hard with south ayrshire council, the police & event organisers. due to the demand the legends have let me increase the capacity of pavilion festival putting them up on sale to skiddle friday 10am first come first served."
