Evil serial killer who raped and murdered young girls rushed to hospital from prison

An evil serial killer who raped and and murdered young girls has been rushed to hospital after falling sick behind bars.

Peter Tobin was taken from HMP Edinburgh to hospital earlier this week after the Scottish serial killer fell ill.

Now, the 75-year-old remains under the care of medics, The Daily Record reports .

The murderer is currently serving multiple life sentences for brutally killing three young girls between 1991 and 2006.

He also raped another 23-year-old woman and has struggled with failing health in recent years.

This is not the first time the serial killer and rapist has suddenly fallen sick during his time behind bars.

The Record previously reported that in January he collapsed in his cell and was whisked to hospital

But this week, prison sources confirmed the killer, who is believed to be suffering from cancer, was taken unwell on Wednesday.

They added: “He’s still in being treated just now. He’s had quite a lot of health issues recently.”

Tobin was jailed in 2008 for the murder of 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton after she disappeared from a bus stop in Bathgate in 1991.

He is also serving a life term for the murder of Dinah McNicol, 18, of Tillingham in Essex.

In 2017, both of the girls’ bodies were found in the garden of a house in Margate, Kent, that Tobin moved to from Bathgate.

He also raped and killed Polish student Angelika Kluk, 23, whose body was found under the floorbaords of a church in Anderston, Glasgow.

A Scottish Prison Service spokesperson said: “We do not comment on individual prisoners.”
