The mother of a pregnant lawyer who was pushed to her death by her husband from Arthur’s Seat fears the “evil” killer will never stop fighting for his release.
Yasmin Javed spoke of her torment over Kashif Anwar’s plans for appeal – two months after he was convicted of murdering her only child Fawziyah Javed, 31, at the Edinburgh landmark.
Anwar was given a life sentence in April and told he’d have to serve at least 20 years in jail for taking the life of mum-to-be Fawziyah on a “mini-moon” just nine months after they married in 2021.
