‘Evil and manipulative’ man jailed for life for murdering partner

A “thoroughly evil and manipulative” man who plied his partner with cocaine and then fatally strangled her on the night she planned to end their relationship has been jailed for life.

Kieron Goodwin, 33, will spend at least 35 years behind bars for murdering 29-year-old Olivia Wood during a short but violent relationship.
