‘Evil and eccentric’: A Star Wars legend just died from COVID complications

Kenneth Colley, the well-known English actor famous for playing Admiral Piett in the beloved Star Wars movies, has died at the age of 87, just like many legends of the movies. His agent confirmed that Colley passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, at his home in Ashford, Kent, after struggling with COVID-19, which later turned into pneumonia. The experienced actor, whose career lasted an impressive sixty years, appeared in many films and TV shows, leaving a lasting impression on audiences around the world.

As reported by The Independent, Colley’s death followed a difficult period that started with a bad fall, injuring his arm and requiring hospital treatment. While in the hospital, he caught COVID, which quickly became pneumonia. Despite these struggles, he died with friends at his side, bringing an end to a life full of achievements in acting.
