Both sit in a similar position in August so far, with the Rays 13-8 and the Yankees 12-8. Recent form pushes the Yankees ahead. New York is 6-1 across its last seven games while the Rays are 3-7 across their last 10, losing three straight series.

The Milwaukee Brewers have been exceptional this season, leading to a one-game lead for first place in the National League over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Through August, the Brewers added four percentage points to their price, thanks in part to a 3-1 series win over the Dodgers. The Brewers are 7-3 across their last 10 games.
