One of Cardiff's biggest races is returning this weekend, on Sunday, March 26, with thousands of people expected to take part. The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K (previously known as the Cardiff Bay Run) is returning to its traditional pre-pandemic slot for the first time since 2019 .
It was last held in September 2022 after the coronavirus restrictions altered its usual spot. Over 5,000 people have registered to take part in the 10K or one of the three supporting Junior races this year.
As well as the main race, there will also be a toddler dash race, a 2k fun run open to both adults and children as well as a 'Future Challengers Mile' which has been designed for competitive young club athletes looking for an accessible opportunity to compete.
