Notts County have cut ticket prices for this Saturday's National League fixture with Scunthorpe United as they celebrate Community Day, with plenty else on offer for Magpies supporters too.
The annual initiative will be bigger than ever this year with the club teaming up with their charitable arm, Notts County Foundation, to further highlight the work they do within the local community and attract families to Meadow Lane.
The Foundation has donated 1,000 tickets to local football teams and schools, and an area of the Jimmy Sirrel Stand has been opened to home supporters as the club gets set to welcome another huge crowd to Meadow Lane following the success of their 'Football for a Fiver' initiative earlier in the season. That broke the National League attendance record.

The family fun zone will offer an array of activities for supporters, including free activities that include access to the Nottingham Padel Centre, a climbing wall, a penalty shootout, goodie bags, and pizza and brownies on sale from local vendors, available between 12pm and 2pm.
After Community Day was postponed during the Coronavirus pandemic, it returned in March of last year and was greeted with huge success after a three-year absence.
Sonali Davé, marketing and events officer at the Notts County Foundation, is looking forward to welcoming fans back for another fun-filled day.
“We are incredibly excited," she said. "I have no doubt that it will be a great day for everyone attending. Come along and join the fun!”
The event will be the last of three taking place this month, with the foundation having already raised awareness around developing the facilities at the Portland Centre, while also embarking on a sponsored walk in partnership with Mencap Nottingham and Forget Me Notts at Trent Bridge Community Trust this Friday.
Sam Crawford, the foundation's chief financial officer, said the charity was now having an impact on lives across the community.
"I would like to thank everyone who has continued to support us. Your generosity has helped us to transform the lives of local people and allows us to continue our extensive range of community-focussed projects and programmes across the city and county.”
