Just when our collective spiral over Heated Rivalry ending hit its peak, Amazon Prime came through with another TV adaptation of a hockey romance book, Off Campus.
All eight episodes of the drama series landed on the streamer in mid-May, and like Heated Rivalry before it, Off Campus has already amassed a diehard fan base eager to immerse themselves in the off-pitch love lives of Garrett Graham (played by Belmont Cameli), Ella Bright (Hannah Wells) and the rest of the gang at Briar University.
You’re probably already wondering whether there’ll be a season two of Off Campus, even if you’re still only part-way through the first instalment. Well, you’ve come to the right place. Below is everything you need to know about Off Campus season two, from whether it’s been greenlit to who’ll be in the cast and what it’ll be about.

Will there be a season 2 of Off Campus?
Yes! Amazon Prime was so confident in Off Campus that it greenlit a second season before the first one had even premiered!
When announcing season two in February, Peter Friedlander of Amazon Studios said “Off Campus captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience”.
“With its passionate fan base, rich source material, and an incredible creative team bringing Briar U to life, we knew that this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season,” he added.
So anyone worried Off Campus would be one of those one season wonders, fret not. We’ll get another helping of college angst and love soon enough.
Who is in the Off Campus season two cast?
Fans of the Off Campus book series on which the TV show is based will know that each entry follows a different pair of leads, with Garrett and Ella being the first lucky couple. That might naturally have you concerned that they won’t appear in season two, but the actors have thankfully confirmed they’ll be back for more.
“I totally understand your concern,” Cameli said when asked if Off Campus’ second season would ditch the main couple. “We will be along for the ride the whole time.”
For her part, Bright added they’ll be “sticking” around, while Cameli said that they’re “excited to see what season two holds for [us]”.
In addition to that duo, we also know John Logan (played by Antonio Cipriano) will return for season two, since the second book in the OG series, The Mistake, chronicles his love story with Grace Ivers.
That love interest did not appear in the first season, but we know that Amazon has already cast actress India Fowler in the upcoming role of Grace.
We are saying goodbye to our Aussie heartthrob Josh Heuston, with showrunner Louisa Levy confirming that although his character Justin won’t be in the next season, he won’t be written out completely.
“Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” Levy said to TV Guide. “We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never.”
So at least he won’t have a McDreamy style write off!
Deadline also reports that Hamilton‘s Philipa Soo has joined the cast as a guest theatre director at Briar U, which I’m sure comes into play with Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean’s (Stephen Kalyn) storyline.
Beyond that, we don’t yet have an official cast list for season two of Off Campus.
Since it’s not a complete anthology, we can rest assured that at least some familiar faces from season one will pop up again in the new episodes, but we’ll be sure to update you when any season two casting news drops.

Anyone who watched season one of Off Campus probably saw this coming, with Allie and Dean’s romance beginning to heat up by the finale.
Speaking to Variety about the ending, series creator Louisa Levy teased what’s ahead, revealing that “all eight scripts [for season two] are written and we have a very exciting plan for the season. I don’t want to say anything yet — but I think book fans will be very excited”, before also nodding when asked if Allie and Dean would be taking centre stage.
“We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two after kickstarting their romance in season one,” series creator Levy said in a statement. “But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble. We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”
When will season 2 of Off Campus be released?
