Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan is back in action on screens with a new movie deal with Netflix.
And whilst she is currently promoting her new festive film, 'Falling For Christmas', which has landed on the streaming site this week, the star has also been busy filming in Ireland recently for another new romantic comedy set for release in the new year.
The Parent Trap star, 36, was spotted in recent weeks as a runaway bride as she filmed scenes new Netflix romcom titled ‘Irish Wish’.

The scenes were being shot in Co. Mayo, and it looks like there will be plenty of action in store, as Lindsay was spotted running around Westport dressed in a wedding dress and runners alongside a look alike stunt double this week.
It comes after movie bosses put out a casting call earlier this year, looking for a ‘full time female body double’ for the Mean Girls star.
A casting call on MovieExtras.ie is titled: “Full time female body double for Netflix rom com 'Irish Wish' required.”
The full notice read: “A very exciting full time role for a camera body double for a well known actress on an upcoming Netflix Rom Com called 'Irish Wish' shooting in Dublin/ Wicklow.
“Acting experience an advantage as role requires scenes with main cast members."
“Please include a full length photo, head shot and photo of back of hair when applying along with FULL MEASUREMENTS to be considered for this role.”
Other criteria for the paid job calls for applicants to be over 18 and 5’4” tall, size 6-8 in clothing and 'willing to dye their hair red if selected'.
They also had to be ‘residing in Dublin’ and available to work Monday – Friday from 5th September to 14th October.
Set for release in 2023, the film features Lohan in the lead role as a bridesmaid turned bride, on the hunt for her true love.
The official description of the film reads: “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, Maddie(Lindsay) puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. “Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be.
“With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realises that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.
The film comes after Netflix announced a new deal with Lohan earlier this year for a “two-picture creative partnership” including a Christmas movie, ‘Falling for Christmas’ which is expected to hit Netflix in late 2022.
