Liverpool are exploring a deal to sign RB Leipzig attacker Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungarian scored 18 goals and added 22 assists in Germany last season and Jurgen Klopp has identified the 22-year-old as a target for the Reds. Already has Alexis Mac Allister walked through the doors at Anfield after completing his move from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Khephren Thuram, Romeo Lavia, Ryan Gravenberch, Gabri Veiga and Manu Kone are all names on the shortlist of Liverpool chiefs. However, the 32-time Hungary international is now a player of interest as the Reds explore a deal with RB Leipzig.
He has gone from strength to strength since his time in Saxony after arriving from Austrian outfit RB Salzburg. The Reds are more than aware of his progress and prominence in Europe after watching the attacker as a teenager.

Newcastle United have been a team mooted with interest in the Hungary captain this summer as they plot further additions at St James' Park. The Magpies are in line to land Italy U21 skipper Sandro Tonali as his lifelong affinity with AC Milan looks set to come to an end this summer.
Szoboszlai has another two years remaining on his current deal with the reigning DFB Pokal champions, in which he made a goalscoring contribution as they saw off Eintracht Frankfurt.
Here is all you need to know about the transfer details surrounding the 22-year-old?
What is Dominik Szoboszlai's release clause?
It has been claimed that there is a €70m (£60m) release clause currently stipulated in Dominik Szoboszlai's contract with RB Leipzig. Salzburg would reportedly be in line to receive 20 per cent of any sell-on fee should he leave the club.
When does Dominik Szoboszlai's release clause expire?
This is where it gets tricky.
There are conflicting reports surrounding his current release clause of £60m. Both Sky Germany and Fabrizio Romano have reported that this obligation in his contract is time sensitive.
Sky Germany have claimed that it is valid until July 15th. However, if true could be more concerning for Liverpool, the Italian journalist has claimed the clause expires on June 30.
Earlier this month (June 19), Romano tweeted: "Understand release clause for Dominik Szoboszlai is valid until June 30 — and not until July 15. Release clause available for €70m only in case club submits official bid within June 30.
"If bid is submitted later, the clause will only be valid for winter window."
This follows on from a tweet (on June 19) by Sky Germany's Philipp Hinze who wrote: "[James] Maddison & [Dominik] Szoboszlai remain on @NUFC [Newcastle United] shortlist.
"Internally, it is known that Maddison is the cheaper option, Szoboszlai the more promising one. Nothing concrete yet. Szoboszlai's clause (€70m) must be drawn by 15 July. Both players remain in the race. FFP is an issue."
Today, however, Hinze has tweeted: "Can confirm the concrete @LFC interest in Dominik Szoboszlai. @TheAthleticFC first. @NUFC are also still in. Open future for the Hungarian, whose release clause is €70m. But: The exit option only runs until 30 June! After that, the transfer fee is freely negotiable."
What has the Liverpool ECHO reported on Dominik Szoboszlai?
Liverpool are looking into a deal for RB Leipzig's Dominik Szoboszlai as they continue assessing options for their midfield rebuild.
It's understood a meeting has taken place with Szoboszlai's Hungarian-based representatives EM Sports Management as Liverpool continue to explore what is possible this summer, having already signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.
There is conflicting information over the expiry date of a release clause of around £60m, however. Some reports suggest it runs out on June 30, while others have claimed it is mid-July. It's unclear how much the Bundesliga outfit would value Szoboszlai at if the release clause was no longer in place.
