Everything the Tories plan to scrap in bid to cut taxes and boost growth

  • Shadow chancellor Andrew Griffith is set to announce a comprehensive deregulation plan at the Conservative annual conference in Birmingham, aimed at boosting economic growth through tax cuts and reduced bureaucracy.
  • The proposals include abolishing environmental bodies Natural England and the Environment Agency , scrapping net zero requirements for residential developments, and streamlining developer contribution fees to speed up planning approvals.
