On the loan market
We haven't really been looking, there have been names thrown up and offered along the way but we've been focused on trying to get people back from injury and suspension. I've seen Yusuf play and like what I saw but it was more a timing issue.
Injury latest
It looks like there's a chance could Blake play next week, Aidan as well. They're relatively short-term injuries but key players and valuable assets to our club that playing injured is not something I'm going to endure. They both put their hand up to play this week but aren't medically cleared to play this week.
Selection issues
We've got a very versatile squad that's great in this situation. Richie Myler can play in the halves, Zak fullback, Jack Sinfield has been playing great in our lower grades and Sutcliffe can play in the halves as well. We'll tidy things up tomorrow.

Another makeshift spine
It's not something that really bothers me too much, it is what it is, it's part of the game I've coached over the years. We've had different spines and teamwork that's the key and I think there's an over-emphasis on the spine at the times.
Dealing with the heat
I think it'll be fine. We've been trying to train in the hottest parts of the day here. We've been out in the sun and working in the heated facilities so we've done what we can to educate the players, how to cool down and effectively hydrate. I don't think anyone gets used to playing in those conditions so it's the same for both teams.
The key to overcoming the heat
Hold the ball, play the ball more than them. That will certainly be an ambition performance-wise. Get out in the heat at times and briefly acclimatising is key. Sitting in the air con all day doesn't help, you've to get out in the furnace and get as ready as we can be.
The test of Toulouse
A big one, they're playing well and full of confidence. They've everything to play for so they're going to throw plenty at us. They have a good brand, we're looking forward to an open game of footy.
Kruise Leeming
It's one of those where there's not a major injury showing up on the scan but feet are a difficult thing, there are a few little bones out there and we don't want to add any undue stress. We need to build up the running volume again and gradually rather than spiking things and putting anyone at risk.
Tom Briscoe
Tom is still a few weeks away, he's had a few mild setbacks that have put him back a week or two from his rehab from the ankle surgery He's tracking quite well body prep-wise but the niggles have put him back a few weeks.
Zak Hardaker
He's a bit sore still, we'll have to see how he pulls up tomorrow and make a late decision on that one.
Jack Sinfield and Corey Johnson as the halfback partnership
That's one of the combinations we went through at training today so that's a possibility.
Jack Walker recall clause
The intention is for the season, I'm not sure if there is a clause or not. We feel we're well covered at fullback and Jack needs to be playing at this stage.
Matt Prior ban
We used a comparison at the hearing that we deemed was a lot more forceful than Matt's and the panel acknowledged that the other challenge that was a Grade A was more forceful, but they decided it was a Grade B still. The process there was to not challenge the grading of the other charge but to show Matt's was worthy of a Grade A. In Matt's case, he plays 300 professional games, winning Grand Finals and he's not known as a player that really does anything intentional, aggressive or reckless.
He's had one or two blemishes in his 300-game career so I'm not real sure.
Travel plans
The travel arrangements were done well before I got here but we've got a flight from Manchester so it made sense that we had to go the day before.
Harry Newman's appeal
We went to challenge the frivolous addition, in the end we accepted the tribunal for the original charge. We and our legal team thought it was a fair case to discuss the matter which we carefully thought out. The Harry's case, there were no other previous charges of the same nature so we thought it was a fair case to contest. We accepted that they found him guilty, his behaviour is not something we condone, but we didn't feel like it was an unreasonable challenge, added an extra week. We thought it was a fair challenge so we contested that.
Liam Sutcliffe's future
We'll make announcements around signings when they're actual things.
