Nicola Sturgeon delivered an update on the current Covid situation, as well as the Scottish Government's efforts to accept refugees from Ukraine, earlier this afternoon (Tuesday, March 15).
She noted in the briefing that the day marked "steady progress back to normal life and a more sustainable way of managing this virus".
The First Minister revealed that nearly all of the Covid restrictions that have been in place during the pandemic would be dropped over the next week. All travel measures will be dropped and businesses will no longer have to retain customer details.
