Having had an early hands-on look at the luxury department store's festive line-up ahead of launch, I can confirm this year's edition is bigger than ever, housing 34 products, 21 of them full-sizes, from a mix of heritage beauty names and exciting new brands.
I've unboxed every drawer to assess the product selection, quality in practice, brand line-up and overall value, weighing up whether the premium price was justified before pre-orders opened today. With Harrods, Liberty and Harvey Nichols having now unveiled their 2026 calendars, Selfridges is the only one of London's 'big four' luxury department stores yet to reveal its festive offering.

For the 2026 advent calendar, Harrods hasn't abandoned the luxury formula that's made its beauty countdown such a draw. In fact, I’d argue it's refined it, weaving some of the year's most talked-about launches into a line-up that's traditionally been dominated by heritage names. While the calendar still leans heavily into the luxury skincare brands synonymous with the department store's beauty halls, newer additions from Skin Cycles, U Beauty and Sync Beauty sit comfortably alongside heavyweights such as Augustinus Bader, Sisley and Shiseido.
For anyone who buys a beauty advent calendar to sample products they'd never usually justify splurging on, Harrods remains one of the strongest contenders. There's a 15ml pot of Augustinus Bader's the rich eye cream (which is one of my skincare favourites. When reviewing the best Augustinus Bader products, I found the formula had a plumping effect on my tired under-eyes and eyelids), Shiseido's future solution LX cream and a Montale fragrance – all of which, if bought outright in the featured sizes, would cost more (£273) than the entire advent calendar.
As I dove into all 25 drawers, I was pleased to unbox the By Terry tea to tan liquid, which has been dubbed tan expert Daisy Lester’s favourite face and body formula in the best face tanners guide. Likewise, the Color Wow Texas hold 'em big hold hairspray comes IndyBest-approved (from the best Color Wow products guide) and a quick spritz of the strong hold formula gave my roots an instant lift.
The category split also feels expertly curated, with make-up, fragrance and haircare receiving more attention alongside Harrods' trademark skincare offering. Highlights include Charlotte Tilbury, Gucci Beauty and Nars on the make-up front, with Philip Kingsley and Moncho Moreno flying the flag for haircare. On the Charlotte Tilbury front, the included matte revolution pillow talk lipstick featured in my best lipsticks guide as my pick for everyday wear. I found the shade subtly rosy and it has a universally flattering finish; it’s also non-drying.
The numbers are more impressive this year, too. Not only will you receive a £75 gift voucher for Currentbody (the brand that currently tops my guide to the best LED face masks), but Harrods has added two extra products overall and boosted the full-size count from 14 to 21. Admittedly, the price has increased by £20 to £270.
I would’ve appreciated a change in packaging. Harrods has kept the same design from 2025. As much as the beige with gold accents is sophisticated, it would’ve been nice for something more festive.
Still, with all of that in mind, I’d argue this is comfortably Harrods' most generous beauty advent calendar to date.

The sell-out Harrods 12 days of fragrance advent calendar returns for 2026 with a £225 price tag and a line-up that’s set to leave olfactory obsessives in awe. The edit brings together some of the biggest names in niche fragrance, including Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Initio and Parfums de Marly, with seven full-size bottles and four scents exclusive to Harrods.
Compared with last year’s offering, which featured the likes of Creed and Roja, the 2026 calendar continues the retailer’s focus on hard-to-find luxury fragrances – with the exception of a Jo Malone English pear and freesia cologne because, well, everyone loves a spritz of JM.

Is the Harrods beauty advent calendar 2026 worth it?
Based on my early hands-on look, I'd say yes, the Harrods beauty advent calendar is worth it. While the £270 price tag places it firmly at the luxury end of the market, the calibre of brands, generous number of full-size products and strong mix of skincare, make-up and haircare make it Harrods' most compelling beauty advent calendar to date. I would have liked to seen a refreshed design and I'd still take any ‘full-size’ claims with a pinch of salt, but those are relatively minor criticisms. If you're planning to invest in one premium beauty advent calendar this year, this is on track to be one of the best ones going.
