Recent figures from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) show that at the end of January this year, there were nearly 2.9 million people across the UK claiming support through Personal Independence Payments (PIP), with just over one in three claimants (35%) receiving the highest level of award.
PIP is paid every four weeks so and can amounts to between £97.80 and £627.60 every payment period.
