Viking metal overlords Amon Amarth have risen from the depths of the Swedish underground scene to become festival headliners and modern metal standard bearers, but their journey to this point hasn’t been without its bumps, In 2009, as they released the epic Twilight Of The Thunder Gods album, they invited Metal Hammer over to their local pub in Stockholm to raise their flagons high and celebrate the ups and downs of their career to that point.
