Belgium defeated Canada in the World Cup last night, but all anyone was talking about was the Offaly GAA jersey that was spotted in the crowd.
Of course, this should surprise nobody as random GAA jerseys have been popping up at the world's biggest sporting events for many years now. From the Masters, to the Women's Euro final, it seems massive sporting events and GAA jerseys go hand in hand.
Last night was no different. But not only was an Offaly jersey spotted in the crowd, but so too was an Irish rugby jersey.

While normally it is a Kerry jersey that gets spotted, at least last night's young Offaly fan kept to the green-and-gold jersey tradition.
Plenty of eagle-eyed viewers spotted the jersey at the time and took to Twitter to comment on what they had just seen.
"Pint behind the bar for this lad being the first Offaly jersey spotted at the World Cup," posted JJ Bowles pub.
"Seeing an Offaly jersey at the World Cup is class," said Kate.
"Last thing you’d expect to see at a Belgium and Canada match is an Offaly jersey," said Ciarán.
"Offaly and ireland rugby jersey in the crowd," said Stiofán.
