While yellow nails are still dominating our social feeds, with fall now on the horizon, you might find yourself in search of a slightly more versatile color—which is where green nail designs come in.
Whether it's a pastel mint hue or a chic olive, there are so many leafy shades to choose from, all of which will perfectly complement any outfit from your capsule wardrobe. It's the type of color that just works for every season and never goes out of style—it's, dare we say, evergreen but especially for autumn when you want to carry a low-key reminder of luscious foliage, as the leaves start to fall...(*cry*)
So, here are all our favorite green nail trends currently gaining traction, from the viral 'Matcha Latte' manicure to gleaming jade nails...
Best green nail designs for fall
While we still have a lot of love for soft and subtle lavender nails, it's green—and its many variations—that has our hearts (and fingertips) at the moment.
You can either go low-key, opting for a block shade of pistachio or forest green, or got bolder, with a statement marble design or gemstone vibe —like Hailey's neon green and gold Coachella nails.
And if you're looking for designs to save to your nail Pinterest board, we've rounded up a few of the most popular and trendy styles...
1.Glazed mint nails

Yes, we've got yet another variation on Hailey Bieber's 'glazed donut' nails, but this time in pastel green.
Like its milky white predecessor, these mint-glazed nails feature that same pearly finish and oval shape. To recreate, simply opt for a pastel, mint green before then either applying a shimmer top coat or a chrome powder and sealing, with a clear top coat.
It's the perfect trend for anyone who wants a subtle nail look, but not just a solid block color. The opal shimmer draws your eye, but not too much.
2. 'Matcha Latte' nails

'Matcha Latte' nails are having a huge moment over on TikTok, with over 630 thousand views to the hashtag.
If you need to visualize this mani trend, just think of a fresh cup of matcha, just as your pour in your milk and the white melds with the grassy green, creating that creamy marbled goodness—that's the 'Matcha Latte' nail trend.
It takes inspo from the popular beverage, but is a little more intricate than that of 'glazed nails'. If you're doing this trend at home, you'll need some detailing nail brushes (at Amazon) and a bit of patience.
Have a palette handy or a plate, and decant a blob of both white and green nail polish and gently swirl them together with your brush and apply to your nail—either as a French tip or all over. You can do this straight onto the nail, or of course, leave it to your nail tech!
3. Olive green

Olive green is another great option for anyone wanting a minimalist but sophisticated nail look.
You honestly can't go wrong with this muted tone as it perfectly compliments both gold and silver jewelry and just brings a very cool, mature vibe to your whole look. We'd recommend either opting for just a solid block color or French tips.
4. Jade nails

We're obsessed with the jade nails—they're inspired by the precious stone, with its almost translucent and marbled effect.
We'd probably leave this look for a nail artist as it's quite intricate but if you did want to attempt it at home, first select a light green and a medium, sage shade before mixing them with a clear polish, to create that sheer 'lip gloss' nail look. Then gently mix them until they look marbled and apply to your nail.
You could apply your sheer sage color straight to your nail, before adding dots of your lighter polish and mixing them together with your brush.
5. Green French tips
French tips are a truly timeless nail look, so swapping out the white for your fave shade of green is the perfect way to incorporate the leafy vibe into your life.
Personally, we're loving pistachio French tips, but olive is also a great option.
6. Neon gemstone nails
Remember Hailey Bieber's Coachella nails? Well, same. They're obviously a very bold choice but seriously cool and surprisingly easy to recreate.
Simply opt for a neon green shade and apply it to your nails. Then get your thin nail brush and paint on some lines with a clear polish and then rub on a gold chrome powder. Alternatively, you could just skip the powder step and use a gold polish. Technically Hailey's also glowed in the dark, but that might be a bit OTT for everyday...
