Everyone is saying the same thing about Holly and Phil at the National Television Awards following 'Queuegate' drama

TV's biggest night of the year is underway as we celebrate the best loved shows and stars on the small screen. The 27th National Television Awards (NTAs) are taking place at the OVO Arena Wembley, with the ceremony airing live on ITV tonight (Oct 13).

Hosted by Joel Dommett, it kicked off with a performance by Eurovision star Sam Ryder ahead of the winners of each category, as voted by the public, being announced throughout the night. Among the award nominees are Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, whose ITV show This Morning has been shortlisted in the Daytime category.

Holly and Phil have faced fierce backlash in recent weeks amid the "queue-gate" controversy, after they were accused of jumping the queue to see the Queen's Lying in State at the Palace of Westminster. Despite insisting they were there as members of the press to film a segment for their show and did not file past Her Majesty's coffin ahead of waiting members of the public, they have been criticised by many and trolled online.
