KOLKATA: With Team India on the threshold of reclaiming the World Cup after 12 long years, Assam, like other parts of the country, is waiting with bated breath for Rohit Sharma & Co to lift the trophy at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Having seen the team from close quarters and being a key witness to their success story, BCCI joint-secretary Devajit Saikia said, "There is not one particular ingredient that has gone into making this team successful. It is completely a collective effort. The success that you see was not built in a day. It took a long time and a lot of perseverance from everybody involved."
