Everyone from the North East who is celebrated in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2022

These are all the North East people who have been recognised in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours List.

The 2022 list once again celebrates the achievements of those who have gone the extra mile to support others in the community or shown dedication in their field of work. A string of honours have been handed out and here we have listed all the recipients in Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Northumberland, alongside details of their awards.

They include ten Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and five Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM). Here is the full list of those honoured in our region.
