This morning (Friday), Kevin was greeted by his friend Rob and his family when he reached the stadium in Headingley as well as crowds cheering him on.

He was described as a “special” human being by Lindsay who stated “everyone needs a friend like Rob.”
Speaking to LeedsLive, she said: “Rob said it before everybody needs a friend like Kev and that's so true, I think the world would be a better place if we had more Kevs in it.
“They’re just special people aren't they and I think what Robs done in terms of sharing his story but then the efforts Kev’s done to raise the awareness, for not just Rob but the whole MND community is really special, it takes a really special type of person to do that.”
She added: “MND is just the most cruel and brutal disease but I think with people like Kev that are raising awareness and the funds and hopefully they will find effective treatments and there will be a cure one day so I think there is hope.”
Kevin began on the seven day marathon on November 13 in Edinburgh and is aiming to reach Old Trafford for the halftime whistle at the Rugby League World Cup men's final on Saturday, November 19.
He will finish off day six at Bradford AFC before heading to Old Trafford tomorrow (Saturday).
Kevin said that he has been humbled by the support he has received from the public and said he will “keep fighting” alongside Rob Burrow and his family.
He said: “The support has been incredible throughout the six days to come back here and see Rob and Lindsay and the family, is really special because that's what all this is all about trying to help families but especially Rob and their family. It was really nice to come home and see so many people who care just as much as I do about Rob.
Describing how his body feels after six days, he added: “Bit busted, I need to get today done and get in the ice bath and try to get some sleep. We try squeeze as much as we can during the week we had a fundraising do last night which raised £30,000, things we have to do to try make a difference what that means is losing sleep and recovering which makes it a little bit harder but were trying to do our little bit hopefully we can be good enough and tough enough to finish it tomorrow."
In a message to Rob and his family, Kevin added: “I love him a lot and I will keep doing what I’m doing. I will stand shoulder to shoulder to them and Rob knows how much we’ll keep fighting alongside him.”
