Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has spoken about his former club ahead of their FA Cup tie against Wolves.
The Reds were taking on the Midlands side in their third round tie at Anfield on Saturday night. Heskey was working as a pundit for ITV Sport for their coverage of the match.
Heskey was joined by former Chelsea and England international Eni Aluko, along with present Mark Pougatch. And the former Liverpool striker went on to talk about several key issues around his old club.

“A team in transition, you’ve got young players then you’ve got midfielders - that looks like - it’s ageing in front of our eyes.
“It looks like it’s ageing in front of you, then the injury list is quite long.”

“You do feel the weight when you come in front of these fans but they will back you, that is what is great about here, they will keep helping you.
“One thing you don’t want to do is hide, you can see he’s making all them runs.”
On Darwin Nunez
“That’s what happens with forwards one that comes off the back of your leg and goes in, that’s when you get on a bit of a run.
“For me, I’d be more worried if he wasn’t getting them chances, wasn’t making them runs to get into the box.”
