Any team news for tomorrow night, is Michail Antonio back?
Michail is back, we had an injury to Lanzini and Arthur [Masuaku] so they are both OK but Arthur is set to see a specialist about his knee and Manu needed a little bit of time with an Achilles so we are not sure about Manu.
Mic has returned and had a couple of days training so hopefully, he will be fit.
How much of a disappointment was it on Saturday that some fringe players did not step up and grab their chance?
All of those fringe players have been absolutely brilliant in the European games. We were one of the only teams... except for the last game we had done unbelievably. This weekend in the FA Cup was a difficult weekend for many teams after the break with the way the FA Cup was, but ultimately those fringe players have been fantastic for me this season they really have been.
Rice scored the goal to keep you in the cup and then in his interview, he was so impressive. You much be proud of him, what is his potential?
As an individual, he's a really improving young man who's gaining a lot of experience and getting better. He learns an awful lot from Mark Noble. I have said many times he should look at Harry Kane and Harry Maguire and all the senior players he is involved with in England and take as much from them as he can because in the future there is no doubt he has a great chance of going onto be a future England captain.
We are really pleased to have him and he is s an impressive young man.
Do you see yourself still managing at 74?
I don't think so but maybe Roy said the same at 58. All I can say about Roy is his love for the game is incredible. To have any level of success you have to have a huge love of the game and Roy has once again shown he has got that.
If anyone can keep Watford up Roy would be the name I would pick, Big Sam would be another one. But Roy with his experience will give them a bit of a chance. He is a really good coach and someone who has managed at all different levels so I think Watford have given them a really good chance of staying up.
Who are you predicting this weekend in the Superb Bowl? Rams or Bengals?
I had an unbelievable time there [three years ago]. When I was out of work I was trying to watch other sports and I was involved in a leaders in sport group and we went to the final in Atlanta. We had a brilliant time professionally and personally.
I was really fortunate to be with some really good coaches. A lot of their stuff I have used over the years and we had a great time.
Probably the Rams would be my choice but I'm not a huge fan but after going to the Super Bowl if anybody ever gets the chance to go to one they should it is a brilliant experience.
Do you think relegation will go down to the wire? Can you see Watford as being one of those teams?
I think a few weeks ago people were already beginning to draw conclusions who the teams were and had it down to three or four teams but the bottom team was Norwich who've had a couple of wins, Newcastle have had a win as well, so there are just signs those teams are getting a wee bit better. And we know that against Watford we will have to play very well to get a result.
Roy Hodgson will give Watford a great chance of avoiding relegation. We were in that position at West Ham a few years ago and it is a horrible position to be in. Every game is about getting points. I've got to say I'm glad it's not me who's there but I have been before and it is not nice.
Is it harder to prepare for as you only played a month or so ago?
Every team has a quick turnaround and Watford is ours, we played them a month ago and got a positive result but since then a lot has changed at Watford, with new players and a new manager so it is like a different Watford team and we have to get ready and prepared.
We will get organised and prepare as much as we can but we have only seen Roy there for one game but roughly it is the same group of players even if they have brought in three or four players in the January window.
Watford had a clean sheet against Burnley how much harder do you expect them to be to break down this time around?
Roy's a really good coach and his teams are really well organised. Over the years his teams, Palace, Fulham, Liverpool, his teams have always been really well drilled, so we'll expect Watford to be the same.
Right away he made an impact. When you're not doing well, you have to stop conceding goals, because scoring goals is never easy. So you have to make sure defensively you are strong and certainly in his first game he got them organised and they got a good clean sheet.
You have faced Roy Hodgson so many times so do you now think this is Roy Hodgson's Watford?
It is strange but it is not strange that Roy Hodgson is back in football because he is a brilliant football man, with his age I don't know if I can do that because he seems like he is going on forever but he has a great passion and love of the game and a drive to stay on the training pitch. If anyone is good at it he is, he is very good with his organisation, his coaching and planning. So I think he gives Watford a very good chance of staying up.
Is it a balance to prepare for Watford and Roy Hodgson?
A little bit because we played them and got a positive result a month or so ago. It is not exactly the same group of players but the biggest change is the new manager and change of style. We have played Roy's team's nay times over the years but that does not mean it will be exactly the same. It is a bit of both we understand Roy a bit but also the Watford players and the ones we played a month ago but obviously it is a slightly different Watford team who went to Burnley and got a good draw the other night.
How much of an opportunity and backing is it for the squad players that you did not bring in any players or targets in January?
All those players have been involved in European games and done a great job for us in the group stages. They've all contributed. When they're asked to [step up] and play again I hope they do.
We didn't play so well in the cup game, but there were a lot of performances across the cup times which didn't match the way you thought the games would go.
We have lots of trust in them and they will be needed in the run in and want them to stay fit, strong, and be ready when their opportunity comes.
How much is it going to take Declan Rice away from West Ham?
I think I have said everything I have to say about Declan from that point. We have spoken enough about him, he is a really important player for West Ham someone we value greatly, and you can see what he means to the team. He's a really good individual and we're enjoying having him.
What you put him in the category of more than £100million players?
Well... yeah.
How much is Tuesday a chance to get back to a top-four challenge?
I'm glad that people are talking about West Ham challenging for the top four because that shows where we have come to. Even last year we probably were not talked about in those terms more could we make a run for Europe.
It shows our improvement and we've been making some strides, we need to keep playing really well and we need to now look at the last 15 games.
I think we've got 15 league games to go and we have to play really well. We're hoping that we can take three points against Watford tomorrow evening where we hope to take three points and keep us going and keep hanging onto the shirttails of the teams above us and see what we can do.
The team have played really well for long periods of the season, we have had little ups and down but no more than anybody else so I'm looking forward to challenging again in the second half of the season.
How much should we cherish manger's like you and Roy the 1,000 club?
I'm not quite Roy's age yet, and I don't know if I'll still be managing when I get to Roy's age but it just shows you how much experience matters and it shows you experience is part of football, whether as a player or a manager.
So many clubs have got good young players but you also need experience around them. Lots of clubs have good young managers on the up but there are some clubs with very experienced managers and I would hope that I was in the category of experienced. And Roy is also in the category of very good and also very experienced.
