Mino Raiola has tweeted after reports emerged in Italy that the super agent has died. The 54-year-old has a long list of clients among some of the top stars in the world of football, becoming one of the sport's best known agents.
His clients include Erling Haaland, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba. West Ham United goalkeeper Alphonse Areola - on loan from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain - is also a client of the Italian Raiola, who moved to the Netherlands as a one year-old, later becoming a youth player with HFC Haarlem.
Raiola progressed to become head of the club's youth team before later entering the world of sports administration. His first high profile transfer was assisting in eventual Ballon d'Or winner Pavel Nedved's move from Sparta Prague to Juventus in 1996.

This was the beginning of a long list of successful transfers negotiated by Raiola, culminating in Paul Pogba's then world record £89million move to Manchester United in 2016, a summer which also saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic move to Old Trafford.
Such is Raiola's influence on modern football, he has become one of the few agents to become widely known in their own right, with such a vast portfolio of talent on his books.
Raiola is currently in hospital with a close friend stating he is "very, very ill", with the man himself making a statement on the reports via his Twitter account.
