One read: "This is not a proper McDonalds, a few things missing from the menu. However, it is a good place to eat. There is no room for a drive through so that's not a problem. If you connect to the WIFI use the Asda one, it's much quicker.
The other read: "Well, like any McDonald's their food is good. There's a lot of choice to choose from. The problem is with this one there's no drive through."

Pretty much always filthy, the staff are generally rude and uninterested, and the standard of food is not of the usual standard of good McDonald's branches. It recently had a refurbishment, which I hoped would help; but it's still dirty, cold and depressing in there with rude staff (the layout is a waste of the floor space). I've even gone to the trouble of photographing some of the food I've had in there recently (breakfast and main menu), it's that bad compared to other McDonald's."

The food was cooked perfectly and the lady who served us at the drive through was really nice. After the baby ate the Happy Meal we went shopping in Asda before looking around the shops in the town centre. The town is a typical valleys town with some nice shops including Peacocks and Home Bargains. On walking back to the car we could smell chips, so we each had a small bag from Conti's fish shop (opposite the bus station) costing £1.60 each. The seating area of the restaurant looked gleaming and there was partitions between the tables. We glanced at the menu and the prices looked amazing. For example, homemade corn beef pie and chips for just £3.40. After eating the chips we went back to McDonald's for drinks and Mcflurries and yet again the order was perfect and the service was second to none. We really enjoyed our visit to McDonald's and would highly recommend a visit."
