Every Lotto jackpot win so far in 2022 as one region sees multiple top prize wins

As the National Lottery always say - it could be you.

Wednesday night saw a bumper jackpot go, as Ireland’s newest millionaire was crowned with a Lotto jackpot of over €5.5 million secured by one player.

It brought to an end a bit of a barren spell in the national competition - having not had any top prize winners in the month of July.

But already this year, we've seen nearly 20 new millionaires made thanks to the Lotto.

January

The year got off to a bumper start as the record-breaking €19.06million went to a player from Mayo

February

A Wexford player became the first top prize Lotto winner of the month after scooping €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday 5^th February. The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Delaney’s Newsagents on Rafter Street in Enniscorthy.

On Wednesday 9^th February, a Lotto player in Meath became the second Lotto jackpot winner of the year after scooping €4,687,615.

There were lots of celebrations in the Royal County after the winning ticket was purchased at the same store that sold the winning Millionaire Raffle ticket less than two months earlier.

The draw on Saturday 12^th February saw a player in Wexford become the biggest winner of the night after winning the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

Cork was celebrating after the Wednesday 23^rd February Lotto draw when a Rebel County player scooped the top prize of €1 million in the midweek Lotto Plus 1 draw. The winning ticket was purchased in the Spar store just off the N22 in Lissarda, Co. Cork.

March

One Dublin player had an unforgettable weekend after winning the massive €5,365,262 jackpot on offer in the Saturday 12th March draw. The Dublin player became the third Lotto jackpot winner of the year after purchasing their winning ticket just off St. Stephen’s Green at the Chapter & Verse store on Lower Leeson Street

Another Dublin player officially became the 14^th National Lottery millionaire of 2022 after winning the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday 19^th March. The Dublin 3 winner purchased their winning ticket at family-run North Dublin Newsagents, Cleary’s Mace store on St. Gabriel’s Road in Clontarf.

April

On Saturday 9^th April, a Lotto player in Louth scooped the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw. The Wee County winner became the 15^th millionaire of 2022 after purchasing their winning ticket was purchased at the Spar Cherrymount store on the Donore Road in Drogheda.

A Limerick Lotto player had an unforgettable Easter Saturday after winning the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw on 16^th April. The Centra store in the Woodview Shopping Centre in Moylish, Old Cratloe Road on the outskirts of Limerick City sold the winning ticket.

May

Saturday’s (7th May) Lotto draw saw a lucky Kilkenny player winning the life-altering prize fund worth €8,508,720. The Marble County winner has officially taken the title of fourth Lotto jackpot winner of the year following wins by players in Mayo, Meath and Dublin.

In the nearby county of Waterford, another Lotto player had a celebratory weekend after winning the top prize of €1 million in the same night's Lotto Plus 1 draw.

Then, on May 25th, it was another Dubliner delighted after scooping an incredible Lotto jackpot of €3,612,485.

June

June 18th saw the Lotto Plus One prize of €1,000,000 go to a lucky ticketholder in the Castletroy Shopping Centre in Limerick City, which saw another millionaire made.

Just four days later, the Lotto Plus Two draw saw €250,000 won by a Westmeath player.

And the month ended in style, with the main Lotto jackpot of €5.6 million once again went to the sunny south-east of Wexford.
