Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav has said every institution such as Governor and the State Government has to be responsible in discharging their duties without trespassing into others’. Even the political parties have to be responsible while speaking on such issues.
Talking to newspersons here on Saturday, he said even Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu would mention it repeatedly that every institution has limitations and they have to work and speak within their purview. He sought to know where was the need for the Governor to speak to mediapersons after meeting the Prime Minister and Home Minister in New Delhi.
Although there was no bar on the Governor speaking to the media, there had to be an appropriate occasion, Mr. Yadav said and asked where should the elected government and elected representatives from the local bodies level to legislature go if the Governor holds ‘praja darbar’ every week.
Reacting to BJP leaders’ remarks on the paddy procurement issue, the minister said the issue was whether the Centre would procure paddy or not and not who was participating in the protests being staged by TRS.
