Every equity mutual fund delivers positive XIRR on SIPs in 5 years. Did you exit too soon?

Bandhan Small Cap Fund HSBC Midcap Fund

Every mutual fund delivered a positive XIRR on SIP investments over the last five years, according to an analysis by ETMutualFunds. There were nearly 219 equity funds during this period, of which 165 delivered double-digit XIRRs, while 54 funds posted single-digit XIRRs.

HSBC Midcap Fund delivered the highest SIP XIRR of around 22.70% over the five-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the fund would have grown to Rs 10.53 lakh.
