Match report: Everton 1-2 Luton

Time to sign off with a report from Goodison Park. Thanks for joining me, and enjoy your weekends.

Some post-game quotes from Luton hero Cauley Woodrow and his manager, Rob Edwards.

“To be fair I don’t really remember much. It just fell to me and I managed to tap it in,” Woodrow told the BBC. “I’m really pleased with myself because I’ve been waiting a long time for a goal, and also for the travelling fans – they were unbelievable today.”

“We believe we can go anywhere and win,” said Edwards after the Hatters’ second victory at Goodison Park this season. “I didn’t enjoy many Cup runs as a player. We will enjoy this, it does mean a lot and it is important that we enjoy these moments.”
