Everton are set to make James Tarkowski their first summer signing and his Bosman move from Burnley could be completed this week.
Everton have fought off competition from a host of Premier League rivals, including Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester, to land the centre-half. The Blues have more business to do and they need to strengthen their squad after last season's relegation near miss.
They are also fighting to hang on to the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison and both strikers' futures are uncertain. Mirror Sport has the latest transfer news from Goodison Park, including updates on Richarlison and their bid for a Porto star.
Richarlison transfer fee blow
Richarlison's future is uncertain with the player reportedly keen to move this summer and Tottenham are keen.
They are being linked with a £51.25million move and the Liverpool Echo claim selling the Brazilian for this fee would leave them with very little profit when they need to generate as much cash as possible. Everton paid £35million up front for Richarlison to Watford four years ago, rising to £50million with add-ons.
Add on Richarlison's wages over his four seasons at Everton and the Blues will not get any return on their investment in the South American. Spurs are keen on Richarlison and the forward played a leading role in helping Everton avoid relegation last season, top scoring with 11 goals.

Kean eyes return
Moise Kean's return to Juventus from Everton on a two-year loan with a view to a permanent deal has not gone well and now the striker wants to move again. Kean is reportedly unhappy back at Juventus and wants to return to Paris St Germain where he spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan, claims Le10sport.
Kean, 22, scored 13 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG and the French champions are in transition with Mauricio Pochettino set to leave as head coach. But any hopes Juventus have of offloading Kean need Everton's agreement and he remains their player. They have to buy him a year earlier than they planned if they can persuade PSG to sign him this summer.
Lampard 'asks' about Porto star
Sport Witness are reporting that Portuguese paper O Jogo are claiming that Everton have made an approach for Porto star Otavio. The Blues have reportedly "asked for" Otavio as they look to strengthen their attack and the Portugal winger is one of Porto's key players.
Porto are in no mood to sell Otavio this summer and have inserted a 60million euros or £51.25million buy-out clause into his contract to ward off interest. This would make him Everton's most-expensive signing if they were try to battle the other Premier League clubs keen on landing him.
