Everton remain 'in talks' with Wolves over a move for Morgan Gibbs-White, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old this summer as he enters the final two years of his contract at Molineux. According to Sheth's report, his contract situation could play a key role in negotiations.
“Everton remain in talks with Wolves over the signing of their midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White,” the journalist said on Thursday. “There’s still a gap though in valuation. Wolves are yet to decide as well whether they do actually want to sell Morgan Gibbs-White, personal terms would not be a problem, we’re told if a deal can be agreed.
“Wolves are looking for in excess of £25million. He’s entered the final two years of his contract though has Morgan Gibbs-White so if he doesn’t sign a new contract with Wolves, you would think, that this would be the optimal window to get the maximum amount of cash.”
