Everton player ratings as Dominic Calvert-Lewin amazing and six others great vs Crystal Palace

Jordan Pickford - 7

His kicking was uncharacteristically loose throughout the first half and he didn't command his area well enough in the build-up to the second goal. However, he produced a vital save in the second half at a crucial time.

Alex Iwobi - 8

Another excellent performance from the midfielder. He was solid when used as w wing-back but really came to life when swapped to his natural position - with his industry and creativity crucial.

Seamus Coleman - 7

Caught in possession too easily in the build-up to the second goal, but that was a rare occasion he put a foot wrong. All of his sheer determination and love for the club came spilling out in the second half.

Michael Keane - 8

Was solid with his individual work throughout the course of the first half despite his side conceding twice, and he produced a lovely finish early in the second half to start off what was a dramatic comeback.

Mason Holgate - 8

He's really stepped up to the challenge in front of him over the course of the last few weeks and this was no exception. He was strong in the aerial duel, good with his positioning and really looks like he's on his way back to his best form.

Vitalii Mykolenko - 7

Had a bright start to the game but lost his man for the first goal and got caught in a mix-up for the second too. However, he put that firmly behind him in the second period to put in what was another promising display.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 6

Palace were on easy street in midfield in the first half and Doucoure did little to halt their progress. He was much improved in the second half though when moved a little bit further back in the midfield and became a crucial aspect of this game.

Andre Gomes - 4

This was not the game for him at all, having struggled last time out against Brentford too. The midfielder found himself overrun in the centre of the pitch far too often and conceded a silly free kick to allow Palace to take the lead.

Anthony Gordon - 6

Once again gave it his all with his energy down the flank, and he certainly got clattered a couple of times by the Palace players for his efforts. However, when he got to the final third, his delivery into the box was so often found lacking.

Richarlison - 8

Clearly Everton's most dangerous player in the opening 45 minutes with his physciality and skill, and he earned his reward in the second half by having the determination to get his shot away and draw his side level.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 10

After a season of injury hell, he stands up and scores a phenomenal diving header to confirm Everton's place in the Premier League next season. And he was great throughout the rest of the game, too.

SUBS

Dele - 8

His substitution changed this match. He was very good on the ball and had big involvements in both of the first two goals.

Demarai Gray - 8

Put in an absolutely fantastic cross to find the head of Calvert-Lewin.

Jonjoe Kenny - N/A

Only got a couple of minutes.
