Jordan Pickford has been voted Everton Player of the Season, as chosen by our Liverpool ECHO readers.
We asked for your thoughts on who was the Blues' standout performer during what has been a challenging campaign for the club and it was Pickford who came out on top with almost half of the total vote (47.2%). The 28-year-old produced a number of vital performances during the closing stages of the campaign, impressing in the club's home win over Chelsea in particular.
Richarlison secured second place with 30.4% of votes, having fired the team to safety with six goals in his final nine appearances of 2021/22. This is the third time in four seasons the Brazilian has hit double figures for goals for the Toffees since arriving at the club in 2018.
Anthony Gordon came in at third (21.2%) after a breakthrough campaign, which has seen the 21-year-old make 40 appearances in all competitions. The English youngster spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship side Preston North End and has looked at home in the top-flight this term.
Completing the top four is Demarai Gray, with 1.2% of the vote, having enjoyed a bright start to life at Goodison Park with three goals in his first matches league games. The former Leicester City winger was less productive as the season progressed, though scored in back-to-back matches against Arsenal and Liverpool at the start of December.
