We didn’t need a poll to tell us what the Everton fans thought of the club’s car crash of a transfer window.
One in which they sacked their manager before hiring another with just hours of the window left. One in which they allowed Anthony Gordon to leave without having a replacement in place. One in which they failed to pull off any signings despite courting the likes of Arnaut Danjuma, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Nicolo Zaniolo, Viktor Gyokeres, Conor Gallagher, Lucas Joao, Michy Batshuayi, Ismaila Sarr and Olivier Giroud. And one in which they even missed out on a free agent target after the window closed - to Nottingham Forest.
But we produced one anyway.

And the only surprise is that the score wasn’t lower.
Asked to rate the January window between rubbish and excellent (yes, we know), the majority plumped for rubbish. In numerical terms, it equated to a score of 1.3 out of 10.
Everton were one of 10 Premier League clubs in which fans got to rate the transfer window, coming in, not surprisingly, bottom of the pile.
However, if there is one small crumb of comfort for Toffees supporters, it is that the next-lowest club in the poll were Liverpool. Reds fans gave their window a score of 1.9, placing it firmly in the awful category.
