Everton's final Premier League fixture of the season is edging ever closer.
Taking on Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon, Sean Dyche's side head into this game knowing three points would ensure their survival status. Leicester City and Leeds United have an outside chance of staying up, but both require wins and Everton stumbling to have hopes of remaining in the division.
There are 27 separate scenarios that could play out on the last day of the campaign, with 17 of those keeping the Blues up. Ten possibilities exist that would result in Everton dropping down, although two of these scenarios require Leeds to win by three or more goals versus Tottenham Hotspur.

Explained below are the various outcomes and what they would mean for Everton.
How Everton can stay up
1. Everton win, Leicester win, Leeds win
2. Everton win, Leicester draw, Leeds draw
3. Everton win, Leicester lose, Leeds lose
4. Everton win, Leicester win, Leeds draw
5. Everton win, Leicester draw, Leeds win
6. Everton win, Leicester lose, Leeds win
7. Everton win, Leicester win, Leeds lose
8. Everton win, Leicester lose, Leeds draw
9. Everton win, Leicester draw, Leeds lose

Securing three points will ensure the Blues cannot be caught by either of their two relegation rivals. But, as shown above, there are ways Everton could avoid the bottom three even if they were to lose at Goodison Park. For this to happen, it would require one or both teams to draw or lose and not win.
How Everton could be relegated
1. Everton draw, Leicester win, Leeds win
2. Everton draw, Leicester win, Leeds draw
3. Everton draw, Leicester win, Leeds lose
4. Everton lose, Leicester win, Leeds win
5. Everton lose, Leicester win, Leeds draw
6. Everton lose, Leicester draw, Leeds win
7. Everton lose, Leicester lose, Leeds win
8. Everton lose, Leicester win, Leeds lose
There are two further scenarios in which the Blues would go down, though this would demand an exceptional home performance from Leeds against Spurs. If Everton draw, Leicester draw or lose against West Ham and Leeds won by three or more goals, the Whites' place in the Premier League would be secured at the expense of their rivals. This would see Leeds go level with the Blues on a goal difference of -24, but staying up on goals scored throughout the 2022/23 season.
