Everton 'enquire' about '£30m' Hull City winger as Moise Kean linked with Premier League return

With the signing of James Tarkowski all but confirmed, Frank Lampard and Director of Football Kevin Thelwell continue to work behind the scenes to prepare for potential transfer business this summer.

The duo will have to work smart, with funds reportedly tight at Goodison Park as Everton continue to deal with Financial Fair Play barometers and manage the move to their future Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

With a number of fringe players under contract, and unlikely to be moved on due to their wages, the Blues may have to compromise in some of their summer business.

Who?

Keane Lewis-Potter

Where?

The Daily Mail

What?

Everton have enquired about signing Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter, according to reports. The left winger, 21, scored 12 goals and added four assists in 46 Championship appearances last season.

Lewis-Potter came through the youth ranks at his hometown club, making his debut in 2019. He has gone on to score 30 times in 122 games. He was voted Hull City’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year in 2021/22 and has also won four caps for England Under-21s.

Lewis-Potter has been likened to Jarrod Bowen, who similarly made his name at Hull City before his 2020 move to West Ham. The winger is also attracting interest from the Hammers and Leeds United and is valued at around £30m.

Moises Kean

Where?

Gianluca Di Marzio

What?

Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest and Fulham are interested in signing Moises Kean, according to reports in Italy.

After struggling at Goodison Park and a loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain, Kean joined his former club Juventus on a two-year loan last summer. The loan deal included an obligation to buy the forward for £24m in the summer of 2023. However, after an underwhelming campaign of six goals in 42 appearances, Juventus are reportedly looking to either negotiate the price down or buy him and sell him straight on.

And Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that both Fulham and Forest are keen to make a move as they look to strengthen their options ahead of their return to the Premier League. However, the report also states that Kean is not convinced by either team and is instead waiting for a better offer.

Who?

Zaidu Sanusi

Where?

O Jogo

What?

Everton are reportedly interested in Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi. The Nigerian, 24, made 40 appearances last season as the Portuguese side completed a league and cup double. The defender scored the goal that secured the Primeira Liga title, netting a dramatic injury time winner during a 1-0 win against rivals Benfica.

Sanusi plies his trade at left-back and has won 11 caps for his country since making his debut in 2020. He has been valued at more than £10m and along with Everton, is also attracting interest from Crystal Palace, Fulham and Brighton.

He is the latest in a number of left-backs linked with a move to Goodison Park, which has included PSV star Owen Wijndal and Man City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko.
