The Premier League are not controlling the timeframe over Everton’s charge for an “alleged breach” of profit and sustainability rules.
An article in the Daily Mail stated that Everton are at risk of a damaging points deduction this season, as the Premier League have reportedly told clubs they are confident of completing their investigation before the end of this campaign.
However, the ECHO understands that the independent commission the case has been referred to will determine the timeframe as part of the judicial process - not the Premier League.
