Everton and Liverpool have finally had their Premier League fixtures against Arsenal and Liverpool rescheduled.
Both Merseyside counterparts had planned to fulfil their domestic obligations on the weekend of September 10 and 11 but after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 all football in the United Kingdom was put on hold as a mark of respect for the longest reigning monarch in British history.
However, the Premier League have now confirmed the Reds will welcome Julen Lopetegui's side to Anfield, who they were well-beaten by in the West Midlands on Saturday, on Wednesday, March 1. The game will kick-off at 8pm.
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche will take his Blues down to the capital on the same evening as Everton hope to continue their scale of the Premier League table and record just a second ever league double over the Gunners, with kick-off at the Emirates a little earlier at the time of 7:45pm
Both fixtures have been pencilled in simultaneously with the FA Cup fifth round, with both Everton and Liverpool exiting the competition in the third and fourth rounds respectively.
