Parliament sat beyond midnight to pass the Economic Crime Act, which has now received Royal Assent. This important legislation will establish a new register of foreign entities mandating overseas owners of British property to declare their identity.
The Government is also set to reveal further sanctions in response to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Those with close links to the Kremlin must have no place to hide.
