Since the conflict began, a wave of religious “voluntourism” has emerged, with organized trips that include volunteering opportunities related to the war in Gaza. The Israel Tourism Ministry estimates that a significant portion of the daily visitors in March are part of faith-based volunteer trips, a trend that has gained momentum in recent months.
