Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for defender Evan Ndicka.
Reports have emerged that the Reds are expressing an interest in signing the Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back at the end of the season. He joins RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol in being a defender linked with a possible move to Anfield.
So far this season Ndicka has been a star player for Frankfurt in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League. He has made 35 appearances in all competitions, with his only goal this term coming in a 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg earlier this month.

Evan Ndicka to Liverpool transfer latest
According to The Daily Mirror, Liverpool are showing an interest in signing Ndicka this summer.
The report states that Ndicka, who would be available on a free transfer this summer, “ticks all the boxes” in terms of what the Reds want in a centre-back.
It has also been stated that Liverpool have been tracking Ndicka’s progress since his early days at French club Auxerre where he got into the first-team as a teenager.
Additionally, the report states that signing Ndicka on a free transfer would enable Liverpool to have more money to spend on other targets, with Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Chelsea’s Mason Mount mentioned by name.
What other clubs are linked with Evan Ndicka?
According to the latest report, North London duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also expressed an interest in signing Ndicka this summer.
In terms of outside England, European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have also been credited as possible suitors for Ndicka at the end of the season.
However, it remains to be seen how strong the interest from any of the aforementioned clubs is until the summer window opens.
When does Evan Ndicka’s contract run out?
Ndicka’s contract with Frankfurt is due to expire at the end of the season, meaning he would be a free agent.
The 23-year-old signed for the Bundesliga club from Auxerre in 2018 and has gone on to become a key player for Frankfurt.
It was reported back in March by German news outlet SPORT1 that Barcelona had already reached a verbal agreement to sign Ndicka on a free transfer this summer.
However, it was stated that no deal had been fully agreed, but this was before La Liga president Javier Tebas announced that Barcelona had been banned from entering the transfer market this summer unless they raised £178million in player sales.
