Evacuation Order Lifted For Hollywood Due To Progress In Firefight

An evacuation order that had been in place for Hollywood due to the threat of the Sunset Fire was lifted on Thursday morning, according to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

Mayor Bass announced that the evacuation order was lifted as of Thursday morning, citing improved conditions that allowed for air operations to make significant progress in Hollywood and Studio City the previous night.
