Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley has assured homeowners who were forced to evacuate due to the ongoing fires that they will be allowed to return to their homes once it is deemed safe to do so. However, Chief Crowley emphasized that the return process will not happen within a matter of days.
Chief Crowley expressed her commitment to prioritizing the safety of the community, stating, 'I will tell you and guarantee you that when it is safe to do so, we will allow the population and repopulation in the community to come back in — that is top of mind. But just as important top of mind is the safety of those individuals as well.'
